Academic Fair This year the Academic Fair will emphasize Science during a three-day, hands-on learning event. The Fair is scheduled for April 26-28, 2006.

Fall Festival One of the most popular events at Kedron is the Carnival. This year the Carnival will be held on Friday, October 14. The evening will include dinner and fun and games. This event raises a few funds, but is mainly intended to bring parents and children together in a fun, safe environment. Ellen Siegel

Collections/Box Tops This committee promotes and coordinates the corporate donations to Kedron through the collection of receipts, boxtops, labels, etc. This includes the General Mills Box Tops, Pike Nursery receipts, Tyson Chicken labels, etc. Lori Fouts

Cultural Arts This committee coordinates and oversees cultural/fine arts programs and activities at Kedron. Laura Strickland
Directory This committee coordinates entry of student information into the student directory and email address database. Members also copy and distribute the directory.

Family Fun Night Family Fun Night is the Spring Social at Kedron. Lori Fouts
Gift Wrap Sales This is one of our biggest fundraisers. The members of this committee organize and promote the sale, which is scheduled for August 12 – September 2, 2005. Nancy Connerat
Heart to Heart Road Race Our second annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2006. Nancy Connerat

Holiday Shop This committee organizes the Holiday Shop, which allows students to make independent holiday purchases for family and friends. The Shop is scheduled to be open December 6 - 8, 2005. Maria Barron
Rosa de la Mora
Media Center Members of this committee volunteer in the Media Center (library). They check books in/out for students, re-shelve books and work at the two book fairs during the year. Jennifer Bilsky
Outdoor Education This committee maintains and enhances Kedron’s outdoor education areas, such as King Arthur’s Courtyard, Sherwood Forest and Marshal’s Meadow. Stacie Grizzaffee
Pre-Packaged School Supplies This committee coordinates all orders for prepackaged school supplies in the spring and distributes them at “Meet the Teacher” day in August. Sara Russell

Publicity/Historian

This committee is responsible for gathering information on school events, taking photographs at those events, contacting local newspapers regarding the events and finally assembling a scrapbook commemorating the year at Kedron.

OPEN
Restaurant Nights This is a fundraiser for Kedron PTO. Restaurants such as Beef O’Brady’s and Mike and C’s donate a percentage of their sales on a given night based on attendance by Kedron families. This committee hands out reminder stickers the day of the appointed “Kedron Night” and picks up the donation. Gloria Ciecka
Room Parents This committee assists the teachers in each classroom with a variety of tasks depending on the grade level. Activities may include organizing class parties, organizing volunteer readers, etc. The Chairpersons of this committee relay PTO information to all room parents and serve as a liaison for the room parents.

School Board Representative The School Board representatives will attend each School Board meeting and report to the Kedron PTO on issues discussed and actions taken by the Board. Lori Fouts
SCRIP SCRIP is a major fundraiser for Kedron. SCRIP can be bought for a wide variety of national and local businesses. Kedron PTO gets a percentage of revenue generated. Sherrie Hurd

Spiritwear/
Class T-Shirts
This committee collects the orders for class t-shirts and spiritwear and delivers the orders once they arrive at school. Regie Cameron
Teacher Appreciation This committee shows the teachers and staff at Kedron how much we all appreciate them. Activities include lunches, notes, gifts during the holidays, etc. Erin Nase
Technology Assistance This committee works with the Computer/Technology teacher. Tasks may include assisting the teacher in upgrading equipment, setting up new equipment, installing software, etc. OPEN
